Windmill Model Arduino
This windmill was developed as a cornerstone engineering project to demonstrate the principles of sustainable energy generation to a live audience. The goal was to create an interactive, self-contained exhibit capable of translating real physical input into a meaningful, readable output.
I handled the full design, wiring, and programming of the system. The Arduino was coded to read back-EMF from the servo motor and translate it into a value theoretically representative of voltage. This value was displayed in real time on a 7-segment display. Key challenges included achieving consistent and accurate sensor readings, developing clean and reliable wiring within the enclosure, and ensuring the output was visually intuitive for a non-technical audience at an engineering showcase.
The completed system successfully demonstrated the core concept of wind-driven energy generation, engaging viewers with a tangible, real-time representation of sustainable power output.
